Journalists Blessed Mhlanga and Chidi Chengeto have been arrested in Chitungwiza.
Mhlanga said he had filmed police trying to arrest Zengeza West MP Job Sikhala and police seized his phone, destroyed it and arrested him.
Meanwhile, advocates from the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR) are attending to the matter.
“In Chitungwiza, Tapiwa Muchineripi of ZLHR is attending to the arrest of journalists Mhlanga & Chengeto whoย are detained at St Mary’s Police Station. More details to follow,” says ZLHR.
