Linda Masarira was taken to hospital after allegedly being pounced upon by her 24-year-old boyfriend, an online publication has claimed.
According to the source, Linda who is a mother of five has been dating a young man who is also affiliated to the Tajamuka protest movement.
Her relationship with Makomborero Haruzivishe has been a source of discontent amongst her comrades who thought she should instead play a motherly role to the young man.
The source also states that Linda who has five children with five different man was attacked following a misunderstanding with her lover who has since vanished without trace following the attack.
An undated picture has since appeared showing Linda Masarira in hospital.
The same source accused Linda of lying about CIO attack when her attacker is the man she shares a bed with, according to the source.
