Taurai Dube from Chitungwiza was caught this morning after a girlfriend reported him for keeping roasted dogs in a private room.
Online sources say Dube is a business man in Harare and Kadoma who deals with restaurants.
The case is still under investigation. Taurai so far hasn’t said anything to the police as he is still waiting for his lawyer.
The dog meat case comes in the wake of revelations that Bulawayo’s butcheries have been flooded with donkey meat which has found its way into restaurants and people’s homes.
