The Zimbabwe Republic Police -ZRP- has confirmed the arrest of three suspected armed robbers after a shootout.
In a press statement, ZRP spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said police details acted on tip off, and ambushed the suspects at their hideout.
The suspects then opened fire at the detectives resulting in a shootout.
