The Zimbabwe Republic Police -ZRP- has confirmed the arrest of at least 44 students affiliated to the Zimbabwe National Students Union (ZINASU).
In a press statement, ZRP spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the police only intervened after being called to attend to a violent situation that had ensued between students.
