The Zimbabwe Republic Police ZRP has confirmed the arrest of 40 members of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC).
According to ZRP spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, the 40 were arrested for contravening sections of the Maintenance of Order and Peace Act (MOPA).
He urged political parties and candidates to observe MOPA requirements when conducting their campaign rallies.
