South African President Jacob Zuma is set to receive an important phone call from United States leader Donald Trump.

Noone knows what they will discuss about, but some already speculate that they will exchange ideas on  international trade between their countries.

There are remote chances they may also talk about regional politics which has often been dominated by domestic problems in individual SADC countries including South Africa’s unstable neighbour, Zimbabwe.

Mr Zuma’s office has already confirmed the conference call;

“The Presidency confirms a request from the White House for a telecon between President Zuma and President Trump this afternoon‚ 13/2/17‚” his office said in a statement.

Trump is also expected to speak with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari today.
