At a time when the country’s policing service has been accused of amplifying corruption in the country, Zimbabwe’s Commissioner-General of Police, Thandabantu Godwin Matanga has implored on top cops to shun corruption.
This, Matanga said, while delivering his keynote address during the Senior Officers’ Conference which got underway in Harare this morning.
Government spokesperson Ndavaningi Nick Mangwana, who is also attending the conference said on Twitter:
“The Commissioner General of Police, Cde TG Matanga Implored the @PoliceZimbabwe to shun corruption and act professionally all the time. He sounded a warning against criminality”.
