Current MDC Secretary General Douglas Mwonzora’s political career is now hanging by the balance as the party’s Deputy Treasurer, Charlton Hwende is leading the nominations for the Secretary-General post ahead of the party’s congress in May.
Hwende currently has 8 nominations out of the 11 nominations that have been held so far while Mwonzora has only one nomination.
Confirming the nomination for the SG position Hwende said he was looking forward to the increased amount of work the position comes with.
