Right on the third day of the on-going national shutdown, South Africa has recorded its second death as Covid-19 (coronavirus) continues to take a toll on the southern African economic powerhouse.
Reports from south of the Limpopo indicate that the number of Covid-19 cases has also shot to 1 280. This comes as the Health ministry has confirmed 93 new cases in the vast Sadc nation. On Thursday, South Africans began the 21-day national lockdown as the novel coronavirus continues to ravage African countries.
