Zimbabwe registers 2,555 new Covid 19 infections in 24 hrs

Zimbabwe’s Covid-19 infections jumped to 2,555 on Monday, up from 523 on Sunday.

The ministry of health says 3 people died – one each in Harare, Manicaland and Masvingo.

Hospitalisations up to 182 from 83.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe’s response team is on high alert following the detection of Omicron variant.
