CAPS United are on the brink of clinching Zimbabwe football championship trophy following a spirited 1-0 win over city rivals, Harare City.
The win comes at the back of a shock 2-1 loss for title challengers Highlanders Bosso who lost 1-2 to Tsholotsho this afternoon.
Boss’s title chances went up in smoke with a defeat to lowly placed Tsholotsho at Barbourfields stadium today.
Tsholotsho raced to a two nil shock lead through double scorer Nixon Gama at both halves.
Ralph Matema pulled one back coming on as a substitute.
The defeat saw Highlanders slip to third place.
CAPS have veteran Leonard Tsipa to thank.
He was on target just after one minute of play.
