The country registered 62 new Covid-19 deaths on Wednesday as the third wave shows no signs of slowing down.
Among those who succumbed to the virus yesterday, there was a prominent journalist Tawanda Gudhlangah.
Meanwhile, there were 2,705 new infections and 737 people are hospitalised.
At least 45,148 people received the first dose of a vaccine.
