Woman accuses Zimbabwe’s president ED Mnangagwa of rape in police report

Susan Vivian Mutami, a 33-ear-old Zimbabwean woman who lived with President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his wife, Auxillia, as a teenager, has filed rape charges against the 79-year-old Zanu PF President with the Queensland Police Service in Australia under case number 4026120.

Analysts say the allegations are a huge blow to President Mnangagwa’s bid to retain the presidency. There are already calls from some quarters for Mnangagwa to either resign or reinstate former Vice President Kembo Mohadi who resigned after an expose of his sexual abuses of his married aides.

Mutami who claimed President Emmerson Mnangagwa abused her when she was 15-years-old, revealed last week that the Head of State was circumcised in 2010 at Manyame Air Base and even asked her to feel his manhood saying it had not healed for sex.

Mutami claims Mnangagwa went on to tell her that in 2 weeks time his manhood would have healed and ready for have sexual intercourse with her.

“Citizens I had forgotten to tell u that in 2010, Mnangagwa got circumcised at Manyame Airbase and he once ordered me to have a feel of his penis in his office at Defence House when I had gone to Zimbabwe.

“I was so uncomfortable and didn’t have an option akati very soon Ichamuka haisati yanyatsopora iyi. Kwasara 2 weeks kuti ndikunyenge,” she says.

Mutami recently revealed a long list of top government officials she has reportedly had sex with, giving graphic details of her encounters with several high profile individuals.

Mnangagwa has not personally challenged Mutami’s allegations.

Susan has also produced pictures of herself in President Emerson Mnangagwa’s office when he was still Zimbabwe Vice President during Mugabe’s time.

Early this week, Mutami shocked the nation when she said she was introduced to sex by Mnangagwa.

According to Zimlive, Mutami told Australian police that Mnangagwa – then a cabinet minister – pursued her after meeting her during an interschools competition in 2003. She was in Form 2.

Mnangagwa, 79, eventually took her into his home in Kwekwe when her father died in 2005.

She claims the Zanu PF leader, who became president after a military coup in November 2017, raped her several times over many years.

Mutami filed a report at the Mount Ommaney police station, a division of Brisbane police, on Monday morning under case number 4026120.

It remains unclear how Australian police will handle the report, with Mnangagwa out of their jurisdiction and banned from travelling to the country due to sanctions.

A spokesman for Mnangagwa dismissed the allegations as “gossip.”

George Charamba told ZimLive: “It would be remiss of me to dignify gossip.”
