Zimbabwe’s leader President Robert Mugabe is back in the country from Singapore where he had gone to see his doctors.

The 93-year-old left on Wednesday for what officials described as a scheduled medical review in Asia.

Travelling with his his daughter, Mrs Bona Chikore, President Mugabe’s chattered plane touched down at the Harare International Airport just after 6.am today.

He was met by the two vice presidents; Emmerson Mnangagwa and Phelekezela Mphoko and several other senior government officials.

Newsday journalists were arrested on Friday for mentioning in an editorial that Mugabe might be suffering from prostate cancer.
