A few days ago a video showing a woman dragging a child by his hand for some distance while the child was crying & visibly in pain went viral on social media platforms. The woman has since been arrested in Kadoma and is being charged for contravening a section 7(1) of the Children’s Act, “ill-treating a child”. She will appear in court soon.
