Acting President Emmerson Mnangagwa took Mugabe’s job and buried late Zanu PF  politician Peter Chanetsa at the National Heroes Acre, a role that is played by the 932-year-old who is away on holiday in Singapore.

Speaking at the burial, Mnangagwa said farmers undertaking the command agriculture programme have to deliver as the government provided them with inputs coupled with good rains.

He also took time praised the former  Mashonaland West Governor.

Speaking at the same event  Home Affairs Mister Dr Joseph said  Chanetsa made tremendous contributions to the country before and after independence.

Members of the Diplomatic Corp who attended the burial of the national hero  Peter Chanetsa paid tribute to the former Chief of Protocol describing him as a seasoned politician, unwavering cadre and a Pan-Africanist who gave his all for the emancipation of Zimbabweans.

Chanetsa had resigned from active politics at the time of his death, he is survived by wife Beatrice and three sons.
