IRAQ: A UNITED STATES Air raid early Friday morning killed  Iran’s head of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and architect of its regional security apparatus General Qassem Soleimani, international news sources say.

Soleimani was killed after American a Donald Trump sanctioned attack was carried out by rockets that destroyed 2 vehicles carrying high profile guests just before daybreak today.

Iraqi militia commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis also died in the raid and Iran has declared a 3-day mourning in honour of General Qassem Soleimani.

Crude Oil prices shot up by more than 4% emiidiately following the death of  Qasem Soleimani.

Meanwhile Iran has vowed ‘revenge’ against the United States of America after a top Iranian most powerful military commander, General Qasem Soleimani was killed early this Friday in an airstrike ordered by US President Donald Trump in Baghdad, Iraq.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif described the attack as an act of international terrorism. while Iran’s leader said “vigorous revenge is waiting for the criminals”
