Harare: The late Minister of State for Masvingo, Ms Shuvai Ben Mahofa, who died in the early hours of Monday and was declared a national heroine, will be laid to rest on Sunday.
Politburo member Josiah Hungwe told ZBC News that Mahofa’s body will lie in state at her house in Rhodene tonight.
Tomorrow, the body will be flown to Gutu Mupandawana where it will lie in state on Friday night.
On Saturday, the body will be flown to Harare after a church service is held at the Reformed Church in Zimbabwe at Mupandawana Growth Point.
Mahofa collapsed and died at home early this week after succumbing to poison she allegedly swallowed at Zanu PF conference in Victoria Falls.
