Kingstone Mapupu

Popular Harare singer and actor, Freddy “Kapfupi” Manjalima(39),  was injured last week Monday after his car collided with a commuter bus at Chiremba road in Epworth.

Narrating the accident, Kapfupi told reporters that his vehicle was involved in a head-on around 5PM and he had to to be rushed to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for treatment.

He has since been discharged from the hospital and is now recovering at his home in Epworth.

Kapfupi does not recall everything as he was left momentarily unconscious following the crash.

Three passengers travelling in the kombi were  injured and they were  also taken by ambulance to Parirenyatwa.

Kapfupi says he suddenly found himself in front of an oncoming kombi.

He swerved to avoid it but ended up colliding with another commuter coming from the opposite side.

The car involved in the accident belongs to the singer’s wife Precious “Mai Nga” Kabrito (32). Zim Papers
