A truckload of more than 24 police officers in anti riot gear is on standby outside the Harare Magistrates Court this morning.
This is ahead of a court appearance by ‘Madzibaba VeShanduko’, the Citizens Coalition for Change supporter and campaigner.
Madzibaba veShanduko was arrested and tortured in custody facing charges of insulting police officers.
The police also alleges that he wanted to deface the Mbuya Nehanda statue, a claim he is denying.
