In Chitungwiza, police on Saturday released 2 juveniles into the custody of their parents after they had arrested them for allegedly participating in a gathering with intention to cause public violence during a Register to Vote sensitisation programme.
Meanwhile, 4 Chitungwiza residents Gibson Chizunza, Tinashe Gutsa, Never Chigada, Josephine Mundiya & Catherine Changayi remain in custody at Makoni Police Station charged with contravening section 37 of the Criminal Code for allegedly participating in a gathering with intention to cause public violence.
They are expected to appear in court Monday.
They are represented by Tapiwa Muchineripi of the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights.
