A ZIMRA boss has resigned in shame after being caught indulging in se_dx in a parking bay.

Canino Mudzimu who was the taxman communications manager quit on Friday as it was increasingly becoming inevitable that he would lose his job for bringing the name of Zimra into disrepute.

Mudzimu was caught at his work place’s basement parking lot by security guards two weeks ago enjoying se_x with his girlfriend identified as Abigail Rugadza around midnight.

“At first, he tried to threaten guards who caught him but lost it as they were unmoved which prompted him to try and buy their silence. The security personnel then refused to be gagged,” said an H-Metro mole.

The mole said the issue of Mudzimu and Abigail had threatened to tear his home apart.

Mudzimu is said to have later realised that he would leave the organisation with very little to show if he did not resign, the mole said.

Mudzimu yesterday hung up the phone after H-Metro called seeking his comment on the alleged parking bay se_x.

“Hello, who am I speaking to?” the tax-man asked before hanging up on realising that it was H-Metro.

Efforts to get further comments were unsuccessful as he later switched off his phone.

Efforts to get a comment from Zimra top brass were unfruitful with the journalists being tossed from one person to another.

Board Secretary, Corporate Communications and International Affairs Ropafadzai Majaja said Mudzimu had made a voluntary resignation.

“We confirm that Mr Canisio Mudzimu tendered a voluntary resignation on Friday 16 March 2018. He did not disclose reasons for his resignation. We are therefore unable to comment on what motivated the resignation,” Majaja said.

“Mr Mudzamu’s resignation was voluntary and the organisation was never involved in the personal decision he made.”

She added that the organisation was unable to neither confirm nor deny that Mudzimu had an argument with security personnel saying the security details were best to comment on this.

The security team is, however tight-lipped.

Majaja said she could not comment on the woman who was said to be in the company of Mudzimu.

“We are not aware of this and we are therefore unable to comment,” she said.

Abigail could not be reached for a comment as her whereabouts and contacts could not be ascertained.- state media
