Zimbabwe recorded 2,283 new Covid-19 infections and 18 deaths on Monday.
Ministry of health says 12 of the deaths occurred in Harare between 7 and 16 December.
However, the ministry says these were not captured in their data because they were not hospital deaths.
Positivity rate almost 50 percent or 1 in 2.
