The Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) has warned of planned power outages in the Western region.
In a public notice, ZESA’s distribution arm the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company said the planned power cuts are to allow maintenance works at Hwange Thermal Power Station.
However, customers have been urged to treat all power lines as live to avoid electrocution as power may be restored without notice.
