Renegade opposition MDC-T leader Thokozani Khupe has rallied Zimbabweans to vote for the Nelson Chamisa-led Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) party in explosive by-elections slated for this weekend.

Clad in CCC regalia emblazoned with the images of her 2018 arch-nemesis, the 58-year old politician told a press conference in Harare that the MDC-T was advocating to ballot in favor of ‘like-minded opposition political parties’ in the impending by-elections to be held in vacant constituencies and local government wards across the country.

“Following our previous announcement that we are going to be working with like-minded opposition political parties- because we are stronger together- and that we are going to give a signal on who our members are to vote for in the upcoming by-elections. I am therefore today announcing that we are calling on all our members- all MDC-T members and supporters to go and vote on the 26th of March for Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) candidates,” said Khupe amid jubilations from journalists and delegates.

Posting the video on Twitter, Khupe said:

“Today I called on all MDC-T members and supporters and citizens at large to go and Vote on the 26th of March for Citizens Coalition for Change Candidates across the country because we are stronger together. #KhupesaysVoteforCCC
