Tynwald School bus driver appears in court, as teacher succumbs to injuries

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed the death of Tynwald teacher who succumbed to injuries that killed six pupils.

“The ZRP confirms the death of a Tynwald teacher who was involved in a fatal road traffic accident which killed six pupils on 14/10/22 in Juliasdale, Nyanga.

“Rukwena Chamunorwa (38) died while admitted at a local hospital in Harare,” says the police.

Meanwhile, the ZRP has also confirmed that the bus driver Machimbidzofa Chamunorwa was arrested and is facing charges of culpable homicide.

He will appear in court on 03 November 2022 (today) in Mutare.
