Zimbabwe soccer star of the year 2016, Leonard Tsipa favourite

Zimbabwe football top goal scorer for 2016 season, Leonard Tsipa, is now destined for bigger things after fans from Highlanders, Dynamos and Caps United agreed that he was the league’s most outstanding player for the season.

Tsipa who will face competition from Caps United teammate Hardlife Zvirekwi is a veteran forward who has been in action since the late 90s.

Getting the top gong at the twilight of his career will be a double for the man whose team was crowned Zimbabwe champions for the 2016 season.

The rest of the 2016 calendar finalists include Ronald Pfumbidzai of Caps United , FC Platinum’s trio of Winton Mhango, Petros Mhari and Wisdom Mutasa, Highlander’s Peter Muduhwa, last year’s finalist Clemence Matawu of Chicken Inn, Hwange’s Gift Mbweti, Libert Chakoroma from Ngezi Platinum and Dynamos’ Godknows Murwira.
