Can someone tell Zimbabwe’s second first lady Grace Mugabe, Nelson Mandela never chose Mbeki as his successor.
His preferred candidate was Cyril Ramaphosa but ANC congress chose Mbeki who beat Ramaphosa, so we can safely say Grace Mugabe lied.
I’m struggling to see which other President chose their successor anywhere in the world.
It can only be countries ruled by monarchies which appoint successors to Queens and Kings.
