No PayPal, online payment for passports yet, Gvt warns of criminal elements

The government has warned of criminal elements trying to fleece members of the public through online payment for passports.

Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information Nick Mangwana says there is no PayPal and online payment for passports yet.

“Whenever a good thing is rolled out, criminal elements try to take advantage so as to fleece members the public of their hard earned money.

“If you get this kind of solicitation please don’t fall for it. It’s a scam.

“There is no PayPal or Online payment for passports yet,” he says.
