President Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to officially re-open Shamva Gold Mine.
This is the largest gold mine in Zimbabwe producing about 400kgs bullion of gold per month.
This translates to 4.8 ton per year.
It was closed some time ago due to a number of operational challenges.
