A Harare High Court has granted that today’s demonstration planned by opposition leaders, Joice Mujuru and Morgan Tsvangirai should go ahead.

Robert Mugabe’s government made unsuccessful last minute frantic attempts to stop the march but was defeated via a court decision that asked police to let people protest against the worsening situation in the country.

Thousands of people are expected to join the protests organised by Zimbabwe’s opposition parties under the auspices of NERA, an electoral reform organisation pushing for fair and transparent voting system ahead of the 2018 Zimbabwe elections.

Here is what will happen in Harare today.

  • 11AM March Start
  • 1230PM Handover of petition and Zimbabwe Electoral Commission(ZEC)
  • 01PM Party Leaders give speeches at Freedom Square
