This year’s much awaited Valentine’s Day is now history but the weekend vibe remains alive at different joints across the country.

Sungura fans in Ruwa are in for a treat tonight as Alick ‘Baba Shero’ Macheso performs at Leisure Centre alongside Peter Moyo from 6pm till late. This is their first show together in the new year and definitely one not to miss. Admission: Cover Charge.

Dendera King, Suluman Chimbetu and the Orchestra Dendera Kings jump-start their weekend in Mutoko at Nyamakwere Lodges supported by talented singer, Carlos Green and the VMV band from 8pm till late. Admission: $5

Tomorrow, the Dendera crooner will take his ‘Khakhi Outreach’ tour to Camp & Caravan Park in Murewa from 8pm till late. Admission: $5.

High-riding sungura singer Mark Ngwazi is set to perform at Senator Chief Ngezi’s birthday party this Saturday. The celebration takes place at Makaki Homestead along Mubaira Road, Tennis Turn off from 10am till late. Free Entry.

*Killer T & Andy Muridzo In Mbare*
Zim dancehall chanter Killer T and the Hot Property Band invades his roots this weekend for a back to back perfomance with multi-talented Andy Muridzo and the Jeetaz Band. Their combination will serenade fans this Sunday with stellar performances at a gig dubbed “Mbare Invasion”, Zebra Village, Mbare. Admission: $5.

Tonight, Andy Muridzo and the Jeetaz Band showcase their talent at Di Rozvi Meeting Place in Chivhu.

Dendera musician, Douglas Chimbetu and the Dendera Kings perform tonight at Chirundu Valley Motel from 8pm till late. Admission: $5.

*Kurai Makore In Highfield*
Rising Chimurenga music star, Kurai Makore and the Black Lions host a family show titled “Chimurenga PaFio” this Sunday from 3pm till late at Club Zone, Highfield, Machipisa. Free Entry.
