Zimbabwe which is struggling to meet its power demand is selling 80MW to Namibia, the Zimbabwe Economic Review has disclosed.

As of yesterday the country’s power generation was at 324MW against a peak demand of 1800MW.

The Zimbabwe Power Company is importing, 50MW from Hidroeléctrica de Cahora Bassa; 180MW from Eskom, between 130-200MW from Electricidade de Moçambique and 100MW from ZESCO, Zambia.
