All is now set for the Chimanimani West legislative by-election set for tomorrow, Saturday, 26th November 2016.
Zanu PF is desperate to win the seat following the Norton humiliation last month where expelled party rebel Temba Mliswa trounced a Zanu PF candidate.
Four people are contesting the vacant seat.
Their names are Zanu PF’s Nokuthula Matsikenyere, Peter Gudyana of Renewal Democrats of Zimbabwe, Pesanai Musakanuka of National Constitutional Assembly and Edmore Mtetwa – an independent candidate.
The Chimanimani West seat fell vacant after the expulsion of former Zanu PF legislator Engineer Munacho Mutezo from the party who was doubling as a ZimPF member while still with Zanu PF.
Meanwhile, ZanuPF big names including Minister Ignatius Chombo have been to the constituency begging the electorate to consider the ruling party when they elect the Chimanimani West MP tomorrow.
