Big crocodile appears at Hwange Hospital

Hwange residents were left upset and terrified when a 6-foot (1.82-metre) crocodile mysteriously encroached the main hospital and began to  charge at people.

Water from the in-land lake and surrounding rivers are used by both residents and crocodiles, but reported sightings of the dangerous reptile near the hospital area are rare.

Video footage captured shows the large crocodile doing as it pleases near the hospital. This was before National Parks officials descended onto the area and shot it.

No injuries were reported either at the hospital or the local police. The crocodile can be see in the picture above being harassed by people.
