Minister of Provincial Affairs for Matabeleland South Abednico Ncube had to be rushed to hospital after losing hotly contested Primary elections in Gwanda yesterday.
Ncube was going against ZBC journalist Omphile Marupi who won the Gwanda South seat with a landslide victory.
According to well placed sources Ncube collapsed soon after hearing the news of his defeat, he was taken to a private hospital where he regained consciousness.
It’s indeed a new dispensation in ZANU PF as other bigwigs namely Mutsvangwa, Mumbengegwi, Muchinguri and Mushowe also fell by the wayside and failed to retain their seats.
