This morning, President Emmerson Mnangagwa, received a farewell courtesy call from outgoing Cuban Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Carmelina Ramirez Rodriguez, at State House.
She has been Cuba’s Ambassador to Zimbabwe since 2018.
“We have a very historical and strategic relationship that started before Independence.
“We have continued strengthening it particularly in the critical fields of education and health,” said Ambassador Carmelina Ramirez Rodriguez in her farewell statement.
Zimbabwe and Cuba enjoy cordial relations since time in memorial.
Cuba has supplied Zimbabwe with doctors and skills training especially of teachers.
