KWEKWE: The parliamentary seat won by Blackman Masango Matambanadzo has been declared vacant after Blessing Chebundo of MDC Alliance filed a court application challenging his defeat in Kwekwe Central Constituency during the July 30 elections.
A by-election is to be carried out within 90 days according to a message circulating online..see below.
A person claiming to be Mr Matambanadzo’s personal assistant told ZwNews yesterday that they are aware of the challenge.
Matambanadzo, with 7,578 votes, secured a razor-thin victory against Chebundo’s 7,122.
