The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has dismissed a press statement alleging that President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is being investigated for allegedly trying to kill his deputy Constantino Chiwenga.
Below is the said statement:
In a statement, ZRP spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi said the statement making rounds on social media alleging that the police want to quiz Mnangagwa is not true.
He warned that those peddling such messages will be brought to book.
