The Covid 19 pandemic had a disruptive impact on Zimbabwe’s school calendar.
This saw the calendar being amended to compensate for the lost period of learning.
This year, children will have only 139 school days and are expected to be in class until 17 December.
The prolonged break will demand need for new learning methods, skills and modern technologies.
