Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe has officially endorsed This Flag Zimbabwe and its leader Pastor Evan Mawarire as a force to reckon with.
Mugabe did not have time for Morgan Tsvangirai, MDC, Joice Muru, Zim PF or even the Western countries and the well known sanctions stories.
This time he told millions of Zimbabwe listeners that he has a new nemesis who is more associated to the country’s flag colours than the officials attending the burial at the national shrine.
Speaking about This Flag Zimbabwe, while burying the late hero Charles Utete, President Mugabe said this;
“The Mawarires I don’t even know him(self contradicting), and those who believe in that way of living, well, are not part of us in thinking, they are not part of us as we try to live together. If they don’t want to live with us they should go to those countries that are sponsoring them.”
He added: “We will say no forever, find another environment if you are a pastor, I don’t know if he is a man of religion. A man of religion will speak the biblical truth. 1st Corinthians what does it say? Love one another. So, beware these men of God, not all of them are preachers of the Bible. I don’t know whether they are serving God or they spell G.O.D. in reverse,” said Mugabe.
Mugabe should brace for more problems as This Flag movement and other protest organisations are now preparing for wave after wave of strikes and demonstrations if things do not improve in the country.
