SEKE: Gogo Mubaiwa, Mother -in-law to Zimbabwe Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has fallen hard in the race for a parliamentary seat after she lost in Zanu PF primary elections for Seke constituency.
The support of her powerful daughter Mary Chiwenga was not enough as she only managed to get 1018 votes against Munyaradzi Maworesa Kashambe who got 2405 in the elections held on Sunday.
She joins a list of other high profile officials who fell by the wayside in the chaotic primaries.
