A jubilant atmosphere gripped the courtroom after High Court Judge Garainesu Mawadze cleared opposition MDC Alliance parliamentarian, Job Sikhala of the treason charges he has been facing.
Justice Mawadze also upheld the application for exception amid chaotic scenes which were reportedly triggered by the police who threw teargas at predominantly opposition supporters gathered outside the High Court.
