The Zimbabwe National Parks and Wildlife Authority has confirmed the death of wildlife, including 4 endangered rhinos, due to pollution at Lake Chivero, Harare’s main water source.
In a press statement, ZimParks spokesperson Tinashe Farawo said tests done by University of Zimbabwe ZimParks veterinary department confirmed that pollution within the dam caused the deaths.
