Pothole accident: 16 people were killed in Bulawayo when a haulage truck crashed into a kombi that was carrying the body of a person for burial in Masvingo early today.
According to reports, the driver of the lorry hit a pothole(pictured) and lost control of the haulage truck resulting in the truck overturning and his trailer landing on the mini bus which was travelling from the opposite direction on the Bulawayo Gwanda road just after the National University of Science and Technology(NUST).
Police and other emergency services have already attended the scene.
The injured and the deceased were taken to a Bulawayo hospital
