A Zanu PF member from Mashonaland West Province Executive, former president Robert Mugabe’s backyard, has been arrested over fraud.
According to State owned media, the province’s political commissar Simon Solomon was arrested on allegations of engaging in irregular land deals.
Solomon is said to be currently detained at Kadoma Central Police Station.
He is alleged to have illegally sold a farm in the province for at least $10 000.
