A video has been released online showing dozens of desperate Zimbabweans crossing back into into South Africa via an illegal border entry point.

The border jumpers, some of them with very young children and babies on their backs make their way through a fence which has been cut to facilitate entry into South Africa by their handlers who filmed the group running to catch the connecting transport to the final destination.

Most illegal travellers do not have valid passports or work permits.

After burying our bread winners, who are victims of xenophobia, we have to quickly decide who takes their place in the dangerous place, lest the family starves…
