The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating circumstances surrounding a fire incident which occurred on 08/03/23 at around 0045 hours at Impala Extension suburb, Beitbridge where twin sisters, Everjoy Chapasuka (30) and Sandra Chapasuka (30) were burnt beyond recognition.
This happened after the cottage they were sleeping in caught fire following an explosion which was allegedly heard by neighbours.
Meanwhile, police in Kenzamba are investigating circumstances surrounding a case of murder in which Lunia Nyamuripa (23) died on 07/03/23 at Kubva Village, Gore Area, Makonde after the hut she was sleeping in was set on fire.
Apparently, the police is on record calling on members of the public to be very careful when setting up fires indoors at night.
