A Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services officer Donald Madzinga appeared in court on allegations of aiding armed robbers escape from prison.
According to the statement by the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, he reportedly accepted $700 bribe from inmates to help them escape.
Madzinga was seen giving one of the suspects a pistol which was used to highjack a getaway vehicle.
